Project - "Making a Blanket Chest using the New Jessem router table and the Akeda Dovetail Jig"

It doesn't take but a minute or so for Beth to drill about 24 holes around the edge of the bottom ply.

She sure can make a piece of plywood with pocket holes look good.

Beth eased the bottom ply into its space and tacked the bottom so that it would be at the height of the bottom curves. Once in position, she manually placed all the screws in their pocket holes.

Now she goes around and screws all the screws home.
Beth has made good progress today. Next week we should be able to finish this chest up. There is the cutting of the top, the installing of the piano hinge and the installing aromatic cedar on the inside — maybe we will even get to start the finish process.
