On the side that will have drawers, she has ripped the width to have a 3/4" bottom and top rail. The two drawers will be cut from this middle piece. Catriona lays out the pieces before cutting to size. |

She marks the end spacer blocks for biscuits that will hold them in position. |
She cuts the slots for the biscuits. She uses another piece of walnut to backup the small piece that she is cutting the slot in. |

gluing. With this side assembled, she can cut the pieces for the other side and the ends.
